imageIt has now become a tradition of the British Chamber to have H.M. British Ambassador in Tirana meeting its sustainable members (form UK and Albania) in the early days of February. This year’s meeting was held on the 10th of February 2010, at 13:00, Rogner Hotel.

Guest of Honour H M British Ambassador in Tirana, Ms. Fiona McILWHAM.

The meeting was held on a festive atmosphere, where the members of the Chambers displayed their achievements through various promotional materials and products emphasizing our motto “our success is due to our members”.

imageThe British Ambassador, Ms. Fiona McILWHAM clearly indicated that it is up to us, members of the Chamber and the staff, to indicate the problems companies might face. This will influence the reforms supported by the British Government on the public administration, the legal system improvement, transparency in public tendering as well as all the reforms required for Albania to enter the European Union. The increase of the number of British Companies interested in Albania is an indication that such reforms are going in the right direction. image

Mr. Zenel Hoxha, the president of the British Chamber in Albania, reconfirmed that with your support the Chamber now is the First Stop for foreign companies that would like to enter Albania. Offering services and support to the European standards the British Chamber operates actively in every field of business interest.

We hope that you found of interest the presentation of the latest companies visiting Albania “Mooney Kelly”, “Arup Ltd”, “LAB”, “Atelier Ten. These companies were enthusiastic to collaborate and invest in different fields.

British Chamber’s is confident that by creating new business opportunities, it has helped the business community in general during this difficult economic situation, and the Chamber will continue to do so.
